Rob Gibson, Pastor

GibsonsRob was called as pastor of North Oldham Baptist in August 2005 after serving as our interim pastor. Rob is married to Margaret, who is a soccer mom, cheer mom, and keeps the Gibson household in order. Rob and Margaret came to Louisville in 2002 from Georgia.  Rob is originally from upstate New York, and Margaret is a proud native of the Commonwealth of Virginia. 

Before moving to Louisville, Rob was the Executive Administrator of a large baptist church in Georgia.  Prior to vocational ministry, Rob had careers in corporate banking and private business.  He is a graduate of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (M.Div.), St. Bonaventure University (BBA), and has done post-graduate work at the University of Virginia and Georgia State University.

Rob and Margaret have two children, Christopher and Sydney, and as a family they enjoy travel, snow-skiing in Colorado, and outdoor family activities.


Chris Bartlett, Student Minister

Chris, Gen, and Isaiah BartlettChris serves as Student Minister. Chris teaches the Junior High Sunday School Class. His wife Gen is a nurse at the University of Louisville Hospital, and Chris is a student at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Chris grew up in New Jersey and Gen in Romania.  They have a son, Isaiah Christopher and are expecting a baby girl in June!


Ron Westman, Jr., Minister of Music and Worship

Ron and Ginny WestmanRon serves as our Minister of Music and Worship. Ron has been passionate in leading God’s people to praise for 15 years. He began playing piano for the Sunday morning service at age 14, and continued to use his spiritual gifts at summer camps, youth events, and a number of special services. Ron is originally from Michigan but after being married to Ginny in 2007, he was led to move to Louisville as he strives to be obedient to God’s calling for his life. Ron is a student at Boyce College and plans to continue on to the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary after graduation. Ginny is a mental health counselor for the Center of Rehab and Recovery and is a student at the Kent School of Social Work.


Rita Stephenson, Administrative Assistant

Rita Stephenson Rita serves as our administrative and ministry assistant. A native Kentuckian, she is a graduate of Jefferson Community College, with a degree in Business Management. She is married to Robbie and they have two sons, Will and Scott. Robbie is project manager of hospital construction for Kindred Healthcare. Will attends Eastern Kentucky University majoring in music education. Scott attends Jefferson Community College and is taking flying lessons. Rita enjoys quilting, reading, walking, and spoiling her Himalayan cats, Sassy and Feisty.
